Hi, I'm Kellie!

I am a self-taught acrylic artist based in Alexandria, Virginia, and reaching art lovers nationwide. People recognize me for my mini paintings, pet portrait paint-by-numbers kits, and detailed, whimsical creations. I've had a paintbrush in hand since I was a child and treasured how art brought me close to my family and friends. My grandfather was a brilliant artist who painted for the joy of creating, and I draw much inspiration from this.

About

Art has always held a special place in my life, a critical source of comfort during times when I struggle with my mental health. Painting helps keep me grounded and lets me process and share my emotions when words fail. I hope my work brings comfort and balance to your life as much as it brings to mine.

I began painting more consistently in 2016 and officially founded Kellie Sansone Creates in 2019, quickly growing a reputation for artwork that delights. Now, I want to share my work and help YOU find joy and connection through art.

Let creativity empower you!

Where You Can Find My Art:

The easiest way to peruse my collection is in the online shop, but you can also view my work here:

My paintings are created using high-quality cotton canvases and professional-grade acrylic paints. Every piece (aside from my live paintings) is finished with a varnish seal that protects against UV light and ensures water resistance. Safely display your artwork in a bathroom or kitchen without fear of steam damaging the piece. Hang your art wherever your heart desires and bring joyful creativity to any space.

Giving Back through Art

In my mission to bring joy and connection through art, I often give back to my community. I have contributed profits to the Alzheimer's Association, Alley Forney Center (NY), Volunteer Alexandria, Animal Welfare League, and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Twenty percent of all my pet paintings and paint-by-number kits profits benefit Project Second Chance.

As art has given me joy in life, I am ecstatic to use the power of art to give joy back to others.
