Do you still hold painting classes?

Unfortunately, I no longer offer painting classes or paint and sips. I treasure those classes and whole-heartedly enjoyed sharing the joy of art with others. Now, I'm focused on creating for myself! If you're still itching to get your hands on a paintbrush, I do offer custom paint-by-numbers kits.

Are your hand-painted jewelry items non-toxic?

Yes! All materials used to create my hand-painted jewelry items are hypoallergenic and non-toxic.

Can I gift someone a commission painting?

Yes! My commission gift kits are perfect for those who want to give the gift of artwork but aren't sure what to get.

Shipping

Where is my order?

You should have received an email with the tracking information shortly after shipping.

How long does it take to receive my order?

I pack every painting with care and ship with UPS. Pre-made items will ship in 3 business days. Custom and commission pieces may take up to two weeks or longer to ship. Shipping delays caused by UPS may arise.

How much does it cost to ship?

Shipping costs may vary by painting and product.

I'm local to the greater Washington, DC area. Can I pick up my order?

Yes! Local pick-up is available for those who can travel to Made in ALX, located at 533 Montgomery St, Alexandria, VA 22314.

Refunds & Returns

Can I have a refund for my order?

Only regular-priced items may be refunded; sale items cannot be refunded.

Commissions cannot be refunded due to the nature of a custom piece and the time required to bring a piece to life. I urge anyone who is unhappy with their custom piece to send me an email at kellie@kelliesansonecreates.com so we can work together toward a satisfactory resolution.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received the returned item. We will also notify you of the status (approval or rejection) of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment. Refund processing times may vary. You will be notified via email of the expected timeframe.

If the expected timeframe has passed and you haven’t received your refund, please contact your credit card company or bank (depending on your method of payment); it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Can I return my order?

Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on any purchase that occurred more than 30 days prior to your request.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your refund request, we also require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable), such as:

  • any item not in its original condition
  • any item damaged for reasons not due to our error

Please note that shipping costs are not refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the total amount refunded.

If you are shipping an item valued over $50, it is recommended that you use a trackable shipping service and/or purchase shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your return, so tracking and/or insurance will be important.
